EPCC Member Spotlight: SnowCap Community Services

4th Wednesdays are reserved for our members to welcome us into their place of work and tell us all about what they do! Member Spotlights (aka Member hosted) presentations are a great way to really dive in to the nitty gritty and share all about what you have to offer. For this meeting, we're looking forward to visiting a second location for SnowCap Community Services!

From our host: 

We are excited to welcome the East Portland Chamber of Commerce at SnowCap Community Services. Guests will have the opportunity to tour our clothing program and ask questions about how we support our neighbors in need. Visitors are also welcome to bring donations of food or clothing to help our community.

Currently, we are especially in need of:

• Men’s clothing
• Shoes
• Pet food
• Paper bags
• Cans of vegetables or protein, with bonus points for pop-top cans

SnowCap Community Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 23-7121915) dedicated to providing food, clothing, advocacy, and essential services to those in need. As one of Oregon’s largest sources of food assistance, we serve over 17,000 people across the Portland metro area every month. This vital work is made possible by the dedication of more than 1000 volunteers, guided by a small team of 13 staff members—all without major government funding. The demand for our services continues to grow, and SnowCap remains steadfast in meeting that need.
