EPCC Member Spotlight: SnowCap Community Charities

4th Wednesdays are reserved for our members to welcome us into their place of work and tell us all about what they do! Member Spotlights (aka Member hosted) presentations are a great way to really dive in to the nitty gritty and share all about what you have to offer. For this meeting, we're looking forward to visiting a second location for SnowCap Community Charities!. Please note, we will not have a Zoom option for this member spotlight as we will be going on a tour of their space.

About our host: 

SnowCap is thrilled to welcome you to our new clothing facility alongside the East Portland County Chamber! 

Founded in 1967 by local pastors who recognized a need in the community, SnowCap’s mission is to provide food, clothing, advocacy, and other services to neighbors in need. SnowCap is one of the largest sources of food assistance in the state of Oregon. We serve over 14,000 people in the Portland metro area each month. We do this with the help of over 800 volunteers, led by 13 paid staff, and without government funding. 

We look forward to sharing more about SnowCap's work and upcoming events, as well as giving you a tour of our new building! 

Feel free to bring donations with you—we gratefully accept food, clothing, pet food, and hygiene items. In the future, if you’d like to donate, please drop off physical donations at our 17788 SE Pine Street location, open Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
