East Portland TIF Districts

At this meeting we will be hearing an update about the City of Portland's efforts to explore the creation of new Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts in East Portland. For the past year the East Portland Action Plan (EPAP) has been hosting community conversations that have been providing education around TIF Districts and preparing for the community engagement process. Now that the City of Portland is about to launch the Community Engagement Process it's important for all of us to be informed on how these new TIF Districts can/will impact our neighborhoods and economic development. JR Lilly, EPAP Economic Development Subcommittee Co-Chair, will share updates about the conversation and how we can all plug into what is happening.
