Víctor oversees the general operations of the East Portland Community Office. His role is to bring vision and leadership to the continuing evolution of EPCO's programming, with attention to effectiveness, transparency, and equity. Four years ago, EPCO began an organizational transformation, as a commitment to service excellence, to create policy changes that would ensure programs and services are more accessible and inclusive to diverse communities in East Portland, while continuing to serve those engaged through neighborhood associations. During that period, organizational development work was led by staff with community input and support from the East Portland Community Office Advisory Committee. Víctor expressed how much he valued and appreciated the trajectory in which the organization was headed. In fact he shared that was precisely what interested him the most in applying for his position and what he is most excited about!
