The NE 102nd Ave Safety Project will pilot safety improvements for all people walking, biking, taking transit, and driving on NE 102nd Ave between Weidler and Sandy starting in June. The pilot project, including six marked pedestrian crossings, safer access to transit, slower speeds and buffered bike lanes, will be tested for four to six months. Come hear from Portland Bureau of Transportation project managers, Clay Veka and Christopher Sun, to learn about the pilot project goals, design and evaluation process.
