122nd Ave Plan: Safety, Access and Transit

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is developing a plan for 122nd Ave and project to be built in 2020. Potential changes include safety improvements, more crossings, improved bike lanes, bus lanes, lighting and signal changes to support frequent bus service along this essential multimodal corridor, all while balancing the needs of auto and freight movement.

Please visit the 122nd Ave Plan website to take an online survey in December. The survey includes the same questions posed at the Nov 7 open house with the hopes of gathering input from more people. You can also view the open house poster boards, join the email list & learn more information. Website: www.portlandoregon.gov/transportation/122ndAve

PBOT staff is seeking community input on potential improvements and a range of alternative street cross-sections to be further evaluated on 122nd Ave. Input will also help staff shape the plan, as well as, prioritize and scope a $3.3 million project on 122nd Ave, programmed for 2020.

April Bertelsen, Senior Transportation Planner with the PBOT Policy, Plans and Projects group, will present and seek additional feedback during the East Portland Chamber town hall meeting on January 16.
